Grandmother Clock Lab
My wife bought a Grandmother Clock for Christmas and after setting it up, we noticed that it was not keeping very good time. I noticed that it was behind a few minutes each day and I knew that it needed to be adjusted.
The purpose of your lab is to explain how to adjust the time on a pendulum clock.
1.Use the Pendulum Lab and equipment to develop a procedure to adjust the timing on a pendulum clock
2.Use evidence to explain and justify your procedure
•Follow the Modified Lab Report Format
•Section VI Questions and Problems of the Lab Report are on the Student Lab Handout
•Each student must turn in a report
•We can take several classes to complete this project

We conducted a lab in class while we investigated the variables that effect the frequency of a pendulum. There is an excellent simulation online that will also help you gather the evidence that you need.
